Good morning girls,
For most school is over or just about over and you have a new summer schedule. I'd like to encourage you today to not let the summer schedule push out your time to read God's Word. Purpose to make time for it. Maybe even take more time than during school if your schedule allows. You could set a goal to read through Paul's letters, taking notes or doing an inductive study. Or find a book that takes your through the gospels or a deep study of Revelation. Maybe you could do a study on Proverbs or the Psalms. Whatever you you decide to study take heed of this:
"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it - he will be blessed in what he does." James 1:22-27
Study the word intently, with eager attention.
You will be blessed!!
Love you all, Kelley
Seeking Jesus with you!
James 4:8
